  • The Lubetkin Family will be the third recipient of the Herb M. Iris Award. 
  • The Lubetkin brothers, Bernard, Charlie and Alvin have been mainstays in and around NJIT since the 1950’s.
  • Charlie, a standout athlete in his own right, was inducted into the NJIT Hall of Fame in 1994.
  • The Lubetkin family, for whom our soccer and lacrosse field, located just outside these doors, is named, have been omni-present and supportive with their time, talent and treasure as NJIT has navigated its course through, NAIA, NCAA Division III, II and now Division I.
