Katherine was a member of the NJIT women's volleyball team from 1989 to 1992
She captained the team for three seasons
Eng was named the team MVP from 1990-1992
An 1991, Eng, an outside hitter, led the nation in service aces per game, as she notched a school record 105 aces that season
During her career, NJIT competed in three different conferences and she received multiple conference awards from all three leagues on numerous occasions.
Eng was a four-time Intercollegiate Athletic Conference all-conference selection
She was a three-time first-team all-IAC selection from 1990-92.
As a member of the Independent Athletic Conference, she earned second-team all-conference honors as a freshman (1989) and first-team accolades the next three years.
In the Jersey 9, she was a three-time first-team all conference honoree from 1990-92 (The Jersey 9 did not exist during her freshman season)
