Inducted into the Hall of Fame in recognition of his role in shaping Men’s Soccer and Fencing traditions
He was a four-year soccer standout from 1956-1959 under Mal Simon
Earned Second Team All-American honors as a senior
Help the soccer team to the program's first-ever postseason berth in 1959 NAIA Tournament
A versatile player who played both center forward and center back
He earned All-Region honors as a junior
Barth fenced for threeyears under the legendary tutelage of Coach Paul C. Hausser
Concluded his career by leading NCE’s epee team to a first-place finish at the 12-team North Atlantic Conference Championship meet where he won the silver medal
