NEWARK, NJ–NJIT men's basketball head coach Grant Billmeier announced the fifth member of the 2024 recruiting class, welcoming Quentin Duncan to the Highlanders.

Duncan, a talented combo guard, played a key role and was a consistent scoring threat on a Putnam Science Academy team that reached the Prep National Championship finals and was the No. 1 ranked team in New England in the 2023-24 season.

"We're very excited to welcome Quentin into our program," said Billmeier who is entering his second season leading the Highlanders.  "Quentin comes from a terrific family and got great coaching this past year at Putnam Science Academy, where he played for one of the premier prep programs in the country."

He attended Notre Dame West Haven before transferring to Putnam for his senior year, where he was a Power 5 Conference first-team-all conference selection.

"Quentin will bring a winning pedigree with him and we're excited to get to work with him this summer," concluded Billmeier.

Duncan joins fellow incoming freshmen – Malachi Arrington, Walt Andrews, Ari Fulton, and Stefan Jimenez-Vojnic in NJIT's 2024 recruiting class.
