Newark, NJ - The NJIT men's basketball team welcomes North Florida to the Wellness and Events Center on Thursday as the Highlanders look to sweep the season series from the Ospreys. NJIT won the first game of the series 78-66 in Jacksonville.
Watch Game Live on ESPN+:
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+. Matt Provence will handle the play-by-play with color analysis from Rob Kennedy.
A simple way to find ESPN+ is on NJIT's official athletics website, www.njithighlanders.com. Near the middle of the home page under the headlines section, an upcoming events calendar lists scheduled NJIT contests. After finding the event, click the camera icon to the left of the event listing. That brings you to an ESPN+ portal where you can access the desired program.

Last Game Rewind
Despite a combined 64 points from the trio of
San Antonio Brinson,
Zach Cooks and
Shyquan Gibbs, the NJIT men's basketball team was defeated by visiting North Alabama 78-74 in ASUN conference action on Thursday at the Wellness and Events Center.
"We fought hard to the end, but ultimately rebounding and transition miscues got the better of us tonight," said Head Coach
Brian Kennedy. "We needed to do a better job in those areas, you have to win your home games."
Attached is a flyer I made to help promote our pink month silent auction. Please look over it and let me know if it has all the correct information and spelling. Below is information on the pink month silent auction promotion that I would like to put in a press release as well to promote for Saturday and the rest of the season for the Silent Auction.
All-Time Series
Thursday's meeting is the 11th all-time between the Highlanders and Ospreys, with the previous 10 coming in ASUN action over the last four years. The teams split last season's contests, with each squad defending their home floor with a six-point win, and NJIT won the first matchup of this season last month in Jacksonville.
Last Three Meetings:
1/11/20: NJIT 78, UNF 66 -- Jacksonville, FL
2/16/19: UNF 64, NJIT 63 -- Newark, NJ
1/21/19: UNF 76, NJIT 72 -- Jacksonville, FL
Last Time Out vs. UNF
Jacksonville, FL - Junior
San Antonio Brinson set the tone with a program single-game record 37 points and senior captain
Shyquan Gibbs took over down the stretch as the NJIT men's basketball team defeated North Florida 78-66 at UNF Arena.
NJIT (4-12, 1-2 ASUN) entered the game 0-2 in conference play, while UNF (10-9, 3-1 ASUN) was undefeated through three conference games and riding a 10-game home winning streak.
"We had a very tough competitive non-conference schedule and then opened ASUN play with the conference favorite followed by a pair of road games," said Head Coach
Brian Kennedy. "It's hard to win on the road in college basketball, especially against good teams like UNF, but I thought our team rose to the occasion tonight."
Scouting the Ospreys
UNF, which was picked second in the ASUN Preseason Poll, and currently sits in a tie for first place with Liberty at 7-2 in ASUN games.
The Ospreys have the top offense in the ASUN, averaging 77.7 ppg and rank 1st among all NCAA squads in three-pointers made, three-pointers attempted and three-pointers per game this season.
Garrett Sams leads five Ospreys averaging double figures at 15.2ppg.
UNF has won its last two games and four of its last five.
