BOSTON - An impressive 229 NJIT student-athletes who competed during the 2024-25 school year earned America East Academic Honor Roll recognition, the conference announced on Wednesday. The Highlanders had two more student-athletes earn this honor compared to 2024.
 
Student-athletes from the men's and women's soccer teams, men's and women's basketball teams, women's volleyball, baseball, men's lacrosse, men's and women's track and field/cross country, and men's swimming and diving teams who posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
 
154 student-athletes earned the Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for achieving at least a 3.5 GPA. 48 Highlander student-athletes earned a 4.0 GPA during the fall or spring semesters.
