NEWARK, NJ - After 12 road games to open up the 2022 season, the NJIT baseball team will finally play home games, hosting Hartford in three America East Conference games at Jim Hynes Stadium on the campus of Kean University in Union, NJ.

Award Season
Three Highlanders have already earned weekly honors from the America East this season.
Ryan Fischer and
David Marcano swept the conferences Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, after week one, while
Grant Vurpillat was honored as Pitcher of the Week following the best outing of his career at Norfolk State.
Scouting Hartford
The Hawks are still searching for their first victory after opening the season with nine non-conference losses. Three Hartford players are hitting over .300, led by Donnie Cohoon, who enters the weekend batting .333. On the mound, Will Nowak has started a pair of games and boasts a 1.00 ERA through nine innings.

The Highlanders will make the short trip to Seton Hall on Wednesday when they take on the Pirates in South Orange. First pitch is slated for 4:00pm.
