DALLAS, TX - NJIT closer Jake Rappaport was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NBCWA) Watch List, the organization announced late Thursday. 

Rappaport was one of 66 relief pitchers named to the watch list for the award, which has been given annually since 2005. 

The fifth-year senior, who set the program-record for both wins (eight) and saves (11) during the Highlanders' historic 2021 season, was lone representitive from the America East. 

Rappaport and the Highlanders begin there 2022 campaign later Friday when they take on Gardner-Webb at 5pm in Boiling Springs, NC.
