PHILADELPHIA, PA - Four members of the NJIT men's tennis team returned to the court this weekend, facing tough competition at the annual ITA Northeast Regional Tournament, which was hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
Abdullah Fouad and
Amine El Kholti both made it into the main singles draw, while also competing as a tandem in the main doubles draw.
Ashwin Kanetkar took the court in the qualifying singles draw, before teaming up with
Samuel Townes in the qualifying doubles draw.
El Kholti was the most successful of the Highlanders, winning a match in both the qualifying draw and the main draw.
The Highlanders wrap up their fall slate on October 30 and 31 back in Philadelphia at the Drexel Dragons Invitational.
