NEWARK, NJ – The NJIT men's tennis team wins third straight with a 5-2 victory over Bryant at the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility on Sunday afternoon.
The Highlanders jumped out to an early advantage by securing the doubles point. The Highlanders claimed victories on two of the three courts, using strong net play and consistent service games to take the lead heading into singles play.
The Highlanders continued their momentum in singles play, capturing four matches across the lineup to clinch the team victory. The Highlanders found success in both the middle and end flights, building a comfortable lead after Bryant picked up the opening singles point of the match.
With the win, NJIT improves its form during its current homestand and pushes its winning streak to three straight matches.
