ASUN Championship Seed Scenarios - View Charts Here

The ASUN Women's Soccer Tournament is played at campus sites. Six teams qualify, with the higher-seeded team hosting. When the field is reduced to four, those teams all play at the home field of the highest-seeded team remaining in the competition, with the champion advancing to the 2016 NCAA Women's College Cup.

The tournament begins on October 29 with the semifinals and finals scheduled for November 4 and November 6.

NJIT sophomores Neema Liverpool and Melanie Zrno pace the Highlanders with five goals apiece with one regular season contest remaining on the schedule.  The pair, which has totaled 10 points this season, ranks tied for the NJIT Division I record for goals in a season with five (also held by Kori Washington, who netted five goal in 2007).  Classmate Nicole Baldassini follows closely behind Liverpool and Zrno with three goals.

Sophomore Arianna Gerber has moved into first, topping the NJIT program record for most assists in a season (6).  Gerber ranks third in the ASUN assists category.

Senior goalkeeper Karen David has notched five or more saves in the last six matches, bringing her career total to 164.  David has combined for a 6-5-3 overall mark with four shutouts, 74 saves and a 1.02 goals against average.  She currently ranks second in the ASUN with a .831 save percentage, third in goals against average (1.02) and fourth in shutouts.

The Highlanders eclipsed their Division I program record for most goals in a season (23), previously held in 2009, after capturing a 1-0 victory vs. Jacksonville on October 9.

Last Time Out vs. Lipscomb
Last season, the Highlander defense, backstopped by a record-setting 18-save performance from senior goalkeeper Samantha Bersett, had an answer for everything Lipscomb threw at the Highlanders until the Bisons notched a golden goal in the 97th minute to secure a 1-0 overtime victory in the season finale for both teams.
