Lexington Sports Complex (Lexington, SC)        Riley Park (Sumter, SC)       NJIT Baseball Schedule

NEWARK, NJ—The NJIT baseball series schedule for the upcoming weekend between NJIT and UNC Asheville has been moved to a neutral site in South Carolina due to the projected weekend forecast in North Carolina.

The Highlanders will now travel to Sumter and Lexington, South Carolina, and compete in the Lexington County Tournament, a four- game series against three different opponents.

NJIT will open up the Tournament on Friday, February 27 at 2 pm against University of Delaware.  The game will be played at the Lexington Sports Complex in Lexington, South Carolina.

The Highlanders are set to play first-time opponents UNC Asheville at 10 am and Morehead State at 4:30 pm on Saturday at Riley Park in Sumter, South Carolina.

NJIT will close out its trip on Sunday at 1:30 pm when the Highlanders take on the Bulldogs from UNC Asheville at the Lexington Sports Complex in Lexington, South Carolina.

NJIT, which has only played two games thus far, is 1-1, after splitting at George Washington on February 14 in Washington, DC.
