NEWARK, NJ — Freshman defender
Taylor Stuart earned her first America East Conference Rookie of the Week honor, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Stuart, a native of Washington Township, New Jersey, made an immediate impact for the Highlanders this past week, scoring the first collegiate goal of her career in NJIT's matchup against Lehigh on Sunday.
The Rookie of the Week honor is Stuart's first career weekly conference award.
Next Up
NJIT will return home to Newark on Sunday, Aug. 30, when the Highlanders welcome Drexel to Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Highlanders as they continue their 2026 campaign on their home field.
