NEWARK, N.J. -- Three members of the NJIT men's basketball team earned postseason recognition from the Met Basketball Writers Association, as junior Sebastian Robinson, freshman David Bolden, and sophomore Ari Fulton were each named All-Met Honorable Mention selections for the 2025-26 season.
The All-Met teams, selected annually by the Met Basketball Writers Association, recognize the top Division I men's basketball student-athletes in the metropolitan New York area.
On top of the All-Met honor, Robinson was also named to the All-America East Second Team. The junior guard from Montclair, New Jersey finished 6th in the conference with 14.4 points per game and was named Player of the Week once during the regular season. On the year, Robinson averaged 14.4 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, 2.2 assists per game and scored in double-digits in 14 straight games to end the season. Robinson also recorded seven conference games with 20+ points.
Bolden continues to build his resume in just his first year of collegiate basketball with being named All-Met Honorable Mention. The freshman guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin was also named the America East Rookie of the Year and was named conference Rookie of the Week a league-high tying four times. Bolden in his first collegiate season led the America East with 1.9 steals per game and ranked 13th in the league overall averaging 11.9 points per game. He is the second Highlander in the last three years to be named Rookie of the Year with the last being Tariq Francis in 2024. Bolden also earned All-Rookie Team honors. On the season, Bolden averaged 11.9 points per game, 2.7 rebounds per game, 2.7 assists per game and 1.9 steals per game.
Fulton adds to his post-season recognition with the All-Met Honorable Mention selection. The sophomore guard from Fayetteville, North Carolina was named was named to the All-America East Second Team and named Player of the Week twice during the regular season. Fulton averaged 11.3 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game and also recorded six double-doubles on the season.
The Met Basketball Writers Association All-Met teams are among the region's most respected postseason honors, highlighting standout performers from Division I institutions across the New York metropolitan area.
