NEWARK, NJ — Freshman Blake Piscitiello has been named America East Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Piscitiello totaled six points on four goals and two assists during a 1–1 week for the Highlanders.

The 5-foot-10 attacker from Lakeville, Minnesota recorded two goals and one assist in each of NJIT's games last week against Monmouth and Wagner.

Piscitiello currently ranks tied for first on the team in goals (20) and leads the Highlanders in assists (14) and points (34).

He ranks first in the America East in goals per game (2.86), second in points per game (4.86), and third in assists per game (2.00).
