NEWARK, NJ–After four straight games at home, the NJIT men's lacrosse team will make a short trip to Staten Island and face Wagner on Saturday.

NJIT opened the season 2-0 for the first time since 2024, defeating Hampton Pirates (22-8, Feb. 3) and St. John's Red Storm (17-10, Feb. 8).
Last Time Out
The NJIT men's lacrosse team returned to the win column Tuesday evening, defeating Monmouth, 9-5, at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.
Freshman Blake Piscitiello paced the Highlanders with two goals and one assist, firing 14 shots (four on goal). Carson Piscitiello added a goal and three assists, and goalkeeper Cameron Kurdyla anchored the defense with 14 saves on 35 shots.
America East Weekly Honors (Feb. 9)
NJIT swept the conference's weekly awards:
All four earned their first career honors from the America East Conference.
Highlander Leaders
2025 Rewind
JC Echezuria earned America East All-Rookie honors after leading NJIT with 29 points. Emmerick Dopona posted a team-best 15 caused turnovers, O'Brien recorded 28 ground balls (most among non-faceoff players), and Joey Schwarz ranked second in the conference in league play with 11.83 saves per game.
