Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Teams Wrap Up 2026 America East Conference Indoor Championships

BOSTON—The NJIT men's and women's indoor track and field teams concluded competition at the 2026 America East Indoor Championship at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center.

Saturday's competition was highlighted by Jessie Fotheringham's third-place finish in the women's 1 mile run with a time of 4:51, Maria Owens securing second in the women's triple jump at 12.16 meters, a second-place finish in the men's 5000-meter run by freshman Lasse Bjorn Jensen with a time of 14:14.13 and the men's 4x800 relay, third place.

Kierstin Ashby placed eighth in the women's 400m with a time of 57.25. Hayley Lucido had a strong showing in the women 500m, securing fifth place with a time of 1:15.23.

Jessie Fotheringham finished third in the women's 1 mile run with a time of 4:51.69, followed by Sarah Van Ornum in 7th with a time of 4:56.83.

In the women's 3000m Run, Fotheringham placed fourth with a time of 9:28.66. Kimmie Harding finished 12th in the Women 5000 M Run with a time of 17:47.91.

Dakota Jones finished 11th in the Women 60 M Hurdles, timing at 8.91.

Owens took second in the women's triple jump with a distance of 12.16m, while Raegan Bossard followed closely in third with 12.00m. Isabella Patruno cleared 1.60m to place fourth in the women's high jump.

Cassian Holland-Moritz placed sixth in the Men 200m finals with a time of 22.04. Eatoniel Brown secured eighth place in the men 400m finals, clocking 48.30.

In the Men 500m finals, Moustafa Abdelaal finished eighth with a time of 1:05.52.

Lasse Bjorn Jensen achieved third place in the men 3000m with a time of 8:16.84 and secured second place in the men 5000m, finishing in 14:14.13.

Jason Alvarez took 10th place in the men 60m hurdles with a time of 8.44.

Ralu Anosike claimed sixth place in the men's triple jump with a distance of 14.46m.

Caleb Duvelson finished seventh in the men's shot put with a throw of 15.39m.
