NEW ORLEANS, La. - The NJIT cross country teams earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic Team honors, the association announced on Thursday.
 
The women's team finished with an America East-best 3.79 GPA, while the men posted a 3.492 GPA in the classroom last semester.
 
To qualify for the All-Academic award, the team must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 as a team.
