NEWARK, N.J. - The NJIT women's soccer team (3-2-1) hosts Seton Hall (3-0-2) on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Mal Simon Stadium at Lubetkin Field.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Senior forward Briana Andreoli scored twice to lead NJIT to a 2-0 victory over Wagner on Sept. 4. She recorded a brace for the second time of her career, her first since Oct. 22, 2023 at Vermont. Andreoli scored against Wagner for the second consecutive season.
 
ANDREOLI EYES ANOTHER RECORD
With her second goal against Wagner, Andreoli now has 15 career goals, which is tied with Fiona Wright for the most goals in the Division I era at NJIT. She also ranks second in program history in goals across all divisions. The senior currently holds the Division I program record with 38 career points.
 
Andreoli earned the America East Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 25 after recording four points (1 goal, 2 assists). The senior ranks second in the conference with eight points this season.
 
Andreoli was selected to the America East Preseason All-Conference Team for the second consecutive season. Andreoli ranked second on the team with nine points (3 goals, 3 assists) last season while playing all 17 games.
 
CARTHY IN GOAL
Freshman goalkeeper Enya Carthy earned the America East Rookie of the Week on Sept. 2 after allowing zero goals on 14 shots faced against Lehigh and Rider. She has not allowed a goal in her last three appearances.
 
Carthy ranks second in the America East with a .842 save percentage and third in the conference with a .857 goals against average.
 
SCOUTING SETON HALL
Seton Hall enters the contest with a 3-0-2 record, most recently beating Drexel, 2-0, on Aug. 31.
 
Gianna Angelillo leads the Pirates with five goals this season. Goalkeeper Avery Strohecker owns a 0.80 goals against average and .833 save percentage.
 
Seton Hall leads the all-time series, 2-0-1, including a 1-0 victory in South Orange last season.
