NEWARK, N.J. - NJIT men's and women's track and field announced their incoming recruiting class ahead of the 2025-26 season. The Highlanders bring in 22 newcomers to the men's track and field program, and 10 newcomers to the women's program.
 
"This year's incoming class directly reflects the evolution of our program over the past four years. We continue to raise the standards of our program as we strive to be even more competitive in the America East and at the Division 1 level," head coach Jason Munsch said. "This incoming class is not only the largest in our program's history, but it is easily the most talented and well rounded class we have ever had. We have added depth in all of our event areas, which will directly impact how we perform and place as a team at the America East Conference Championships. This class also includes some individuals who I think have the potential to represent our program at both the NCAA Regional and National Championships, which is the next step in the growth of our program. It is a class that already knows how to win and is motivated to do so at the collegiate level."
