LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - The NJIT women's soccer team (2-2-0) hits the road to play in-state rival Rider (0-2-1) on Sunday at Ben Cohen Field. The game will be streamed live on Broncvision.

NJIT fell to Lehigh, 2-1, in Newark on Aug. 27. 
Sofia Mignon scored the lone goal for the Highlanders in the 68th minute, assisted by 
Kennedy Westbrook.
 
ANDREOLI BREAKS NJIT DIVISION I POINTS RECORD
With her goal against Marist on Aug. 24, 
Briana Andreoli broke the Division I program record with 34 points (13 goals, 8 assists). She earned the America East Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 25 after recording four points (1 goal, 2 assists) last week.
 
Andreoli was selected to the America East Preseason All-Conference Team for the second consecutive season. Andreoli ranked second on the team with nine points (3 goals, 3 assists) last season while playing all 17 games.
 
The senior ranks second in Division I program history with 13 career goals.
 
WESTBROOK AND MIGNON ARE ON A TWO-GAME POINT SCORING STREAK
Kennedy Westbrook and 
Sofia Mignon have each recorded at least one point in the last two games. Mignon scored her first goal of the season against Lehigh, while both players registered an assist in the win over Marist.
 
SCOUTING RIDER
Rider enters the contest with a 0-2-1 record, most recently falling to Saint Joseph's, 3-0, on Aug. 28.
 
Courtney Carter and Taylor Mays have each one goal this season. Goalkeeper Ashley Moore made 13 saves in three appearances.
 
Rider leads the all-time series, 7-6, but NJIT won the last matchup, 3-0, in Newark last season.
 
NEXT UP
NJIT will begin a four-game homestand against Wagner on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 5:00 p.m. at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.
