NEWARK, N.J. - Zaidah Lightener set the long jump school record with a college-best 6.01m to finish third at the Rutgers Relays on Saturday, held at the Bauer Track and Field Complex. Four student-athletes also competed at the Paul Donahue Invitational, hosted by Widener, at the George A. Hansell Track.

NJIT achieved 16 personal-bests and nine top five marks in program history.

At the Paul Donahue Invitational,
Julia Canonaco posted a personal-best 1,500m time of 4:41.10 to finish fifth, which is the third-best in program history.
Fabian Herrera also ran a personal-best 1,500m time of 3:57.59, which is also third-best in school history.

Joseph Mucci (1:53.89) and Herrera (1:54.13) clocked personal-best 800m times, which rank second and third in program history, respectively.

At the Rutgers Relays,
Raegan Bossard recorded a personal-best long jump of 5.62m, which ranks third in school history.
Ryan Nartey also notched a personal-best long jump of 6.87m, which is the third-best in program history.

Hayley Lucido finished fourth in the 800m with a time of 2:16.37.

Lucia Julvez, and
Jenna Keith won the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:02.37.
