CONTOOCOOK, N.H. - Jessie Fotheringham earned America East First Team All-Conference honors, while
Sarah Van Ornum was named Second Team All-Conference on Friday at Hopkinton Fairgrounds.

Fotheringham and Van Ornum became the first America East All-Conference selections in program history. Fotheringham also earned the America East Most Outstanding Rookie award.

The women's team finished seventh with 180 points — the highest team finish in program history. Fotheringham finished third with a personal-best 5K time of 17:17.34, while Van Ornum placed 13th with a personal-best time of 17:59.83.

The men's team also placed seventh, scoring 185 points for the best team finish in program history.
Anthony Dvorsky led the Highlanders with an 8K time of 25:12.86 to finish in 21st place.
William Mitchell placed 30th with a time of 25:29.22 and Lasse Bjørn Jensen ran a personal-best 25:31.75 to finish 32nd.

Next Up
After a week off, NJIT will compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday, Nov. 14 at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
