BRONX, N.Y. - The NJIT cross country teams will race at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Friday morning at Van Cortlandt Park. The women's 6K race is scheduled for 10:45 a.m., followed by the men's 8K at 11:30 a.m.

Anthony Dvorsky (5th / 24:56.3) and
William Mitchell (8th / 25:11.3) earned top-10 finishes at the Mets Championships with personal-best 8K times. The men finished fourth overall, beating Columbia, Fordham, and Saint Peter's.

Lasse Bjørn Jensen was named America East Male Rookie of the Week after running a personal-best four-mile time of 20:15.5 at the Main Line Invitational.

The NJIT women are led by 2-time America East Female Rookie of the Week selection
Jessie Fotheringham, who placed eighth with a personal-best 6K time of 21:14.1 at the Paul Short Invitational. Fotheringham has earned two top-10 finishes this season.

Sarah Van Ornum posted a season-best 6K time of 22:03.3 at the Paul Short Invitational.
Kimmie Harding ran a personal-best 5K time of 18:37.3 at the Mets Championships, improving her previous personal-best by 47 seconds.

Next Up
After a week off, NJIT will travel to Contoocook, New Hampshire, for the America East Cross Country Championships, hosted by UMass Lowell, on Friday, Oct. 31.
