NEWARK, N.J. - The NJIT cross country teams competed at the Mets Championships on Saturday morning at Branch Brook Park.

Anthony Dvorsky finished fifth with a personal-best 8K time of 24:56.3, while
William Mitchell placed eighth with a personal-best time of 25:11.3. The men finished fourth overall, beating Columbia, Fordham, and Saint Peter's.

Kimmie Harding led the NJIT women with a personal-best 5K time of 18:37.3 to finish in 17th place. Harding broke her previous personal-best by 47 seconds.
Jenna Keith (38th / 19:32.3) and
Diya Inta (54th / 20:12.8) also ran personal-best times.

Next Up
NJIT will compete at the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Friday, Oct. 17 at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, New York.
