FAIRFAX, Va. — The NJIT track and field teams concluded the 2023-24 campaign over the weekend at the IC4A/ECAC Outdoor Championships, held on the campus of George Mason University.

TOP 3 MEDALISTS & ALL-EAST PERFORMANCES

• Jason Ballen led the Highlanders with the best effort of the weekend, earning a bronze in the Javelin with a personal best toss of 60.23m / 197-7.00 (6 pts)

OTHER IC4A/ECAC MEDALISTS (TOP 6) AND ALL-EAST (TOP 8) PERFORMANCES FROM THE WEEKEND

• Three Highlanders finished just outside top three contention: Maddie Stevens in the 400 meters (54.62; 5 pts), Jordan Lindinger-Asamoah in the Triple Jump (14.65m / 48-0.75; 5 pts), and the 4x400 Relay quartet of Lossenie Fofana, Robbie Tormo, Gabriel Truehart, and Jacob Leigh (3:14.88; 5 pts).
• Other top eight finishers included the 4x800 Relay of David Munera, Joseph Mucci, Khalid Itani, and Fabian Herrera (6th, 7:44.50; 3 pts), the 4x100 Relay of JC Baratta, Damon Dukes, Jr., Andre Henry, and Jacob Leigh (7th, 42.77; 2 pts), and Leigh in the 400 meters (8th, 47.49; 1 pt).
