Track and Field Completes Weekend At Rutgers Open

NEWARK, N.J. — Another small contingent for the NJIT track and field teams made the trip back to The Armory Saturday evening for the second day of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Open.

RUTGERS DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS

Jordan Lindinger-Asamoah took second in the triple jump with a runner-up lead of 15.08m / 49-5.75.
Hayley Lucido set a new PR in the 800 meters, clocking in at 2:17.86.

FINAL PREP
Next week, NJIT will once again go split squad in its final preparations before the America East Indoor Championships on February 19-20.

The Highlanders will send athletes to both the Millrose Games and the Big Apple Invitational next Saturday, February 10.
