NEWARK, NJ - Third-year Head Coach Marco Matteucci has added Tom Sorin to the 2024 NJIT men's tennis roster, he announced on Monday.

Sorin hails from Ness Ziona, Israel and will be a freshman on the team after graduating from Golda Meir High School in 2022.

"We are very excited to have Tom join our team," explained Matteucci. "He has seen good success at the junior and pro level and we look forward to him adding depth to our squad!"

The Highlanders are looking to build upon a successful 2023 season where they finished with a 15-8 record.

NJIT opens its 2024 season on January 26 when it hosts Marist at 4pm in the Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreation Facility.
