Track and Field Opens Busy Weekend At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA — The NJIT track and field teams kicked off a busy weekend on Friday as they competed in their first day of the three-day Penn Relays in Philadelphia.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

The men's 4x400 Relay group of Elisha Bugasch, Lossenie Fofana, Matthew Bacchi, and Jacob Leigh were seventh in the event (3:19.33) and qualified for the finals on Saturday.
Lillian Williams, Maddie Stevens, Amiyah Stephens, and Nia Holloway reset the 4x100 school record of 48.40 (April 8, 2023) with a time of 48.27.
