Track and Field Begins Busy Weekend In Pennsylvania

NEWARK, N.J. — The NJIT track and field teams began a busy, multi-meet weekend on Friday, as the Highlanders were split up across Pennsylvania between the Penn Relays in Philadelphia and Lehigh's Covert Classic.

Men's 4x400 College Heats: 11th - 3:17.29 (Matt Bacchi, Eugene Graves III, Michael Girock, Jacob Leigh)
Women's 4x100 Eastern Heats: 15th - 49.52 (Nia Holloway, Sydne Nance, Lillian Williams, Jadyn Otto)
Men's 4x100 Eastern Heats: 16th - 42.89 (Ndubuisi Obi, Jacob Leigh, Eugene Graves III, Hamza Qureshi)
Men's High Jump College: 16th - 1.94m / 6-4.25 (Jacob Leigh)
Women's 4x400 College Heats: 24th - 3:57.49 (Grace Burke, Nadia Zhecheva, Stuti Vyas, Sydne Nance)
