BOSTON — Jacob Leigh put an exclamation point on the NJIT track and field's indoor season on the final day of the IC4A/ECAC Championships Sunday afternoon at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

Leigh was just .40 seconds from earning top three finish in the 400 meter finals, taking fourth and setting another NJIT school record with a time of 47.76. Leigh reset the Highlander mark that he broke just hours earlier in the prelims of the event (48.23).

By placing fourth in the event, Leigh secured NJIT's best-ever finish and first-ever medal (top six) at an ECAC indoor meet while also securing All-East honors (top eight).

OTHER RECORDS SET AT IC4A/ECAC SATURDAY

• Grace Burke, Sydne Nance, Stuti Vyas, and Nadia Zhecheva reset the 4x400 relay mark after running a new time of 3:56.62 (14th)
• Stuti Vyas pushed the school mark in the 1000 meters forward with a new time of 2:57.44 (16th)
• Sydne Nance once again reset her own school record in the 200 meters, improving the mark to 25.25 (23rd)
• Nadia Zhecheva added to her freshman record in the 800 meters with a finish of 2:17.25 (32nd)
