PHILADELPHIA --- The NJIT women's tennis team was unable to put together back-to-back wins for the first time this spring, conceding a 5-2 defeat to the University of Pennsylvania Quakers Friday evening at the Hecht Tennis Center.

NJIT (1-2) picked up its pair of points during singles as Amira Badawi took the No. 3 flight in straight sets and Sandra Dzhambazov held off her opponent at No. 6 for a three-set victory.
