Biography
2022-23: Posted a 7-2 singles and 6-9 doubles record in duals despite battling through injury all year...ITA Scholar Athlete and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree
2021-22: Earned Southland Second Team All-Conference honors at No. 3 doubles alongside teammate Shalom Salvi...Together, Budiman and Salvi teamed up five times at No. 3 doubles in the regular season and went .800 (4-1) in those matches...for the season, went 12-9 in singles (10-9 in duals) and 10-8 in doubles (8-8 in duals)...helped NJIT reach the Southland Championship match in its first season as an affiliate member.
2020-21: Team did not compete this season (COVID-19 opt-outs).
2019-20: Went 7-3 in dual singles and 7-5 in dual doubles during the Spring (season shortened due to COVID-19 public health crisis)...led NJIT at both top flight positions (5-2 in singles, 6-4 in doubles - tied for wins)...including fall, went 10-7 and 9-9 in singles and doubles, respectively...picked up a victory over a Top 100 ranked played in Fordham's Arina Taluyenko at No. 1 singles in the Highlanders' 4-3 win on March 6...earned the first ASUN Women's Tennis Player of the Week of 2020 on January 29.
2018-19: Named ASUN Freshman of the Year, All-ASUN First Team, ASUN All-Freshman team (unanimous), and ASUN Doubles Pair of the Year with Holly Matson...posted an overall record of 21-5 on the year, including a 13-4 (5-2 ASUN) mark - mostly at No. 1 singles - during the season...named ASUN Player of the Week twice in February (6th, 27th) and earned wins in two September tournaments - the Flight B title at the Navy Invitational and the Flight A consolation at the West Point Invitational....produced a 13-3 overall doubles record and a 2-1 ASUN mark in completed matches with Matson...went 19-6 overall in doubles action, including a 13-4 record (2-1 ASUN) in doubles competition at No. 1 doubles during the season...helped lead NJIT to its fourth straight appearance in the ASUN Championship.
