NEWARK, N.J. — NJIT Women's Soccer (3-7-6, 0-4-2 AE) will wrap up its 2022 home schedule and honor its graduating seniors on Sunday when the Highlanders welcome the Vermont Catamounts (4-8-2, 0-4-2 AE) to Newark

LAST TIME OUT 
In their penultimate America East road game of the year, the Highlanders rallied to secure a 1-1 tie against the UAlbany Great Danes on October 16. Freshman Riley Jones was named America East Rookie of the Week for her effort against UAlbany, scoring the goal that gave NJIT the draw against the Great Danes

NEWS AND NOTES TO KNOW
11: NJIT will be honoring 11 total players on Sunday - its eight-member senior class (Lily Bray, Ariana Caminos, Lauren Chamberlain, Bailey Chant, Gabby Lamadieu, Cassidy Landis, Nora O'Connor, and Madison Taibl) and three fifth-year players (Angela Harris, Siani Magruder, and Molly Saylor).

28: The number of games over three seasons that Lily Bray played at the University of Houston before arriving at NJIT. Bray has made eight appearances so far with the Highlanders.

3: Primarily a defender, Ariana Caminos recorded her first three offensive points this season in NJIT's 2-2 draw against St. John's. Caminos set up the Highlanders' first goal (1) and scored the second (2 pts).

2: Number of times Lauren Chamberlain has either led NJIT in goals (2019, 4 goals) or tied for the team lead (2020, 2 goals).

8: Among the current roster, Bailey Chant has the most career goals of anyone (8; 2 in 2019, 1 in 2020, 3 in 2021, 2 in 2022).

28: The career-high amount of minutes Gabby Lamadieu played in NJIT's matchup against Lipscomb on October 18, 2019.

3: Cassidy Landis logged a career-best three saves in one half's worth of action against Drexel during the 2020 season (played in Spring 2021; Feb. 21, 2021).

7.5: The distance in miles between NJIT to Saint Peter's, the only school that Nora O'Connor has scored goals against (1 vs SPU on Aug. 31, 2019; 1 at SPU on Sept. 11, 2022).

7: Madison Taibl is one of seven Highlanders to earn an America East weekly honor in NJIT's three-year history in the league (named Defensive Player of the Week on October 25, 2021).

52: Despite losing a season to injury in the middle of her career, Angela Harris has still appeared in over 50 career games (52 entering Sunday)

2: Siani Magruder is the only Highlander to earn First or Second team All-Conference honors in two Division I conferences (Second Team All-ASUN in 2019 and Second Team All-AE in 2021).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
UVM, the reigning America East champion, have struggled this season and have lost its last two matchups against Maine (3-2 on October 9) and at UNH (1-0 on October 16). In their all-time series, the Catamounts lead the Highlanders 2-0, including last year's meeting in Burlington, VT (2-0 on October 3, 2021). UVM is led by Kate Bossert (6 G, 2 A), Sydney Remington (3 G, 4 A) and Erin Murphy (1007:28 mins, 2.05 GAA, 52 saves).

NJIT will close out the regular season on Thursday, October 27 at America East newcomer Bryant. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
