NEWARK, NJ–The NJIT men's soccer team secured another draw, finishing with a 0-0 tie against visiting Binghamton in America East men's soccer action Saturday evening at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.
NJIT picks up its second straight tie and fourth of the season, moving to 3-3-4 overall, 0-0-2 in the America East while Binghmaton stands at 1-6-3 and 0-1-1 in the league.
The four draws are the most since the 2019 season when the Highlanders finished with a 10-5-4 overall record.

NJIT keeper Pellito replaced an injured starting goalkeeper Samuel Reisgys in the second half, making his first appearance of the season and third of his career (two appearances in goal in 2021).

Pellito's four saves is two-shy of his career-best six saves at Drexel (10.19.21).

The last time the Highlanders recorded four saves dates back to 2019 when NJIT captured the ASUN Conference regular season and tournament title, earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the NJIT Division I era, finishing with a 10-5-4 overall record.
