Queens, NY - The NJIT men's tennis team suffered a 6-1 setback to Villanova on Saturday at the USTA National Tennis Center.
NJIT is now 7-3 on the season, while Villanova's record now stands at 6-8.
"It was a tough loss to a good team," explained Head Coach

Villanova set the tone for the afternoon sweeping all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead into singles action.
In singles play,
Abdullah Fouad was the only Highlander to get a win, doing so with a straight-set (6-3, 6-2) victory at the #1 position.Â
