NEWARK, NJ - The NJIT women's volleyball team will take the court for the first time in 464 days on Saturday when it travels to Hofstra to open its spring 2021 season.
It's Going to be a Little Different
Like many schools across the country, the current COVID-19 public health crisis has pushed NJIT's fall 2020 campaign into the Spring. Please bookmark NJITHighlanders.com to keep up-to-date on any schedule changes that may arise because of the pandemic or weather-related issues.
As for fans this season, due to COVID protocol policy, the NJIT Department of Athletics is prohibiting spectators at our Indoor & Outdoor Athletic Events. The policy will be re-evaluated in March.
A New Home
The Highlanders will begin this season as members of a new conference home, the America East. NJIT became the league's tenth member on July 1, 2020 after five seasons in the ASUN Conference.
NJIT will play its first America East matches on February 28 when it travels to Albany to play New Hampshire and the host Great Danes.Â
