NEWARK, NJ – Sophomore Ema Torres and freshman Martina Gonzalo Cortes were named to America East post-season teams on Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Ema Torres was named to the America East Second Team. Torres ranked 7th in the America East and led the team in kills with 3.01 K/S and also ranked 7th in the America East and led the team in points with 3.4 P/S. The sophomore outside hitter also recorded a career high 22 kills at Coppin State (Oct. 21) and recorded double-digit kills in ten matches this season. 
 
Freshman Martina Gonzalo Cortes was named to the America East All-Rookie Team. Gonzalo Cortes finished 3rd on the team in kills with 139 and finished 4th on the team in points with 167. The freshman outside hitter recorded five double-digit kills in five matches this season including a career high 15 kills against Binghamton (Nov. 2).
