NEWARK, NJ--The 2019 ASUN Conference Freshman of the Year Alejandro Rabell has been selected to compete for the Puerto Rican U20 National Team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Qualifiers between February 19-23 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Rabell, the Highlanders forward from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, combined for six assists, six goals and 18 points in his first season at NJIT.

The  5-foot-8 forward ranked in the top four in the ASUN in goals (third), assists (third) and points (third).

Prior to attending NJIT, Rabell played club for the Bayamon FC and the Puerto Rican National team.
