NEWARK, NJ—NJIT will play its next three games on the road, first with a trip up to Burlington, VT on Saturday to face Vermont. Tip-off scheduled for 1pm in ESPN+.

All-Time Series
NJIT will look for its first win over Vermont in program history on Saturday. The Catamounts hold a 3-0 record against the Highlanders. The two teams met last season in Newark, with Vermont picking up a 71-63 victory.
ASUN Conference Weekly Awards
NJIT senior forward
Milena Bajic picked up her first career ASUN Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week accolade, while
Kenna Squier was honored for the first time as Freshman of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday.
Bajic, who was named College Sports Madness Player of the Week in the ASUN Conference on Monday, averaged a double-double last week, combining for 16.0ppg and 13.5rpg.
Squier, the 5-foot-9 guard, picks up her first career ASUN Conference weekly award, averaging 14.5ppg, 8.0rpg, while shooting 58 percent (11-for-19) from the field and 70 percent (7-for-10) from the free throw line.

NJIT senior forward
Danielle Tunstall scored a game-high 21 points but it wasn't enough as Fairleigh Dickinson had three players score in double-digits in the Knights' 68-59 victory Tuesday evening in women's basketball non-conference action at NJIT's Wellness and Events Center.
NJIT's three-game win streak was halted Tuesday, moving the Highlanders to 3-7 on the season.
Tunstall finished with 21 points, shooting 9-for-16 from the field, 2-of-3 from three-point range while adding seven rebounds. Her 21 points in one-shy her season mark (22 points at Wagner; November 19, 2019) and three shy her career mark (24 at Saint Peter's; November 6, 2018).
Scouting the Highlanders
After dropping its first six contests of the season against a challenging schedule, visiting Air Force and Colorado and hosting defending Ivy League Champions Penn, the Highlanders are 3-1 in their last four contests.
NJIT is led by three double-figure scorers –
Danielle Tunstall (12.5ppg), reigning ASUN Conference Freshman of the Week
Kenna Squier (10.5ppg) and reigning ASUN Conference Player of the Week
Milena Bajic (10.4ppg).
Tunstall tops the team with 9.4rpg (ranks second in the ASUN) while Bajic follows at 8.4rpg in five games.
Scouting the Catamounts
Vermont will enter Saturday's game with a 4-6 overall mark and winners of its last two games. The Catamounts will conclude its five-game homestead on Saturday against the Highlanders.
The Catamounts picked up back-to-back victories against Norwich (86-40) and Canisius (76-53) and are led by five double-digit scorers.
Hanna Crymble tops the team in points (17.4) and rebounds (8.5) followed by Josie Larkins (14.2ppg), Emma Utterback (11.3ppg), Rose Caverly (11.1ppg) and Carmen Handy (10.0ppg).
Crymble, a three-time America East All-Conference honoree, has registered double-figures in nine-out-of-10 games, including a 30-point performance against Rhode Island and two twenty-point games. In the last six-out-of-seven games, she has registered a double-double for the Catamounts.
Larkins, a New Jersey native, paces the Catamounts with 30 three-pointers and 38 assists.
American East Preseason Coaches' Poll
The Vermont women's basketball team has been selected sixth in the 2019-20 America East Preseason Coach's Poll. Crymble was named to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Last season, Vermont finished with an 11-18 overall mark, 7-9 in league action.
Next Up
NJIT will break for a week for exams and return to action on Saturday, December 21 at Columbia. Tip-off is set for 12Noon on ESPN+. This will mark the fifth game against the Lions, which holds a 4-0 all-time record.
