The NJIT women's soccer team will make a weekend road trip in the ASUN Conference to Jacksonville, Florida and visit North Florida on Friday at 7pm and Jacksonville on Sunday at 1pm.

Fiona Wright who scored two of the Highlanders three goals.
Wright scored her sixth and seventh goals of the season ranking her first all-time in the NJIT DI record books for goals in a season.
Last Meeting vs. North Florida
North Florida posted a 1-0 double overtime victory against NJIT on October 2 last season in Jacksonville. UNF's Sarah Wasser scored the game-winner in the 104th minute off a free kick.
Scouting the Highlanders
NJIT, winners of the last three out of four contests, enters Friday's contest with a 7-3-1 overall mark, 1-1-0 record in the ASUN Conference. The Highlanders are 3-2 on the road this season.
After a season-opening loss to defending MAAC Regular season and tournament champions Monmouth, the Highlanders went 5-0-1 over the next six games. NJIT has posted five shutouts on the season.
The 3-2 overtime win over UMBC is the first win in overtime for the Highlanders since 2012 when NJIT defeated South Carolina State on October 20.
NJIT recorded the first all-time victory over Liberty, 3-1.
Wright, who became NJIT's Division I leader with goals in a season, after scoring a pair of goals against Liberty, has combined for seven goals and 14 points. Her seven goals ranks second in the ASUN and tied for 26th in the nation.
Wright also shares the league lead with UNF's Thais Reiss for most shots taken (35).
Sophomore
Katrina Nguyen-DeMary paces the Highlanders with four assists, which ranks tied for seventh in the ASUN.
Graduate student
Amelia Sapirman ranks in the top 5 of the ASUN Conference in saves (51), save percentage (.797) and goals against average (1.16).
ASUN Conference Preseason Poll
NJIT, which saw the Highlanders set program records in 2017 for wins in a season (9), shutouts (7) and finishing above .500 (9-8 overall), was selected to finish eighth, tallying 20 points.
UNF was picked to finish 5th in the ASUN in the league's preseason poll.
Scouting North Florida
North Florida (5-4-1, 0-1-1 ASUN) has won five of its last six matches. The Ospreys are looking to extend their win streak to four.
The Ospreys have had 11 different players net a goal this season (one of just 16 teams in the country with more than 10 goal scorers).
Sophomore goalkeeper Rhiannon Conelley has three shutouts this season and nine in her career.
Sophomore Thais Reiss is the reigning ASUN Freshman of the Year and was tabbed a preseason All-ASUN honoree. Reiss just returned to Florida after playing for Brazil in the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup the past few weeks.
