Coming down the stretch, making a push for the playoffs and needing every point they can get, the Highlanders put on an offensive display and defeated the Monmouth Hawks 16-2. 

Dominating right from the opening face-off, the scoring started less then 30 seconds into the game and never stopped.

Matt Lepinski and Mike Caufield set the pace with 4 goals each.  Mike Crincoli and James Copeland each scored a pair.  Will Hoer, Phil Lelikov, Rohan Ganta and 'Dot' Oyefeso contributed to the total with one goal apiece.

Somehow the Hawks managed to put 41 shots on net, but Matt Altomare was up to the task as he stopped all but 2 of those shots.

Assists:

Matt Lepinski  and James Lyle led the team with 3 assists, Phil Lelikov, Mike Caufield, and Paul Roth had 2 and Mike Crincoli, Rohan Ganta and Joe Dickinson each had 1.

The final games are at The Prudential Center this coming Friday 2/9 and Sunday 2/11 at 8:30 PM against UPenn & Princeton and its a good bet that it will come down to the last minute of play to see if the Highlanders can make it to the playoffs.
