Calvin Gould Honored as NJIT Athlete of the Week

NEWARK, NJ – Junior Calvin Gould earned NJIT Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the ASUN Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend.
 
The Highlander men dominated the pole vault event earning 22 points out of 31 points given out, starting with Gould who won with a score of 4.31m.
 
This is the first ASUN win for Gould, who missed the podium in the 2017 Outdoor Championships with a fourth place finish.
 
After Gould, Kyle Russell finished third for the Highlanders while Brandon Kong and Brian Nagotko came in fourth a fifth respectively and Issa Feknous seventh place.
