SPARTANBURG, SC—USC Upstate (3-18, 1-5 ASUN) edged visiting NJIT (7-12, 3-3 ASUN), 4-3, Saturday morning in the Highlanders regular season finale.

NJIT will return to the court next
Friday, April 21, when the Highlanders travel to Fort Myers, FL, to compete in the ASUN Conference Tournament. The Highlanders will open play as the three seed.
Highlander duo
Natacha Minc and
Amanda Helminsky earned a doubles victory over USC Upstate's Morgan Dodd and Anna Nemeth, defeating the pair, 6-1, at third doubles. USC Upstate, however, went on to take the doubles point.
In the singles competition, senior
Nathalie Habegger defeated Vale Zarama of USC Upstate at fourth singles, in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3.
Junior
Alba Rosas Garcia earned a singles victory over USC Upstate's Taylor Dodd, in straight-sets, 6-4, 7-6, at the fifth spot.
Amanda Helminsky continued her fine play, defeating Morgan Dodd at sixth singles, also in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
