HARRISONBURG, VA – NJIT baseball finished their four game series with James Madison with a 14-2 loss on Sunday.
The Highlanders (3-14) received five hits from five different players.
LF 
Evan Pietronico and 1B 
Bryan Haberstroh 1-for-3 and C 
Brady Hall went 1-for-4 with one run.
2B 
Tom Brady was 1-for-3 with a run and SS 
Justin Etts was 1-for-3 with the Highlanders only two RBIs.
The Dukes (14-4) had a strong game from RF Adam Sisk, 1B Brett Johnson and 2B Fox Semones. Sisk bat .1000 going 3-for-3 with four runs, while Johnson went 3-for-5 with one run and a team-high three RBIs. Semones went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. DH Jack Hamner, CF Mike Sciorra and PH Ryan Lynch also
added two RBIs a piece.
Losing LHP 
Brian Sondergard (0-1) went six innings for his second start of the season, giving up nine hits and five earned runs. LHP 
Aquib Ramkishun pitched 3.2 innings in relief, followed by LHP 
Justin Chin who pitched to one batter in the eighth.
RHP Josh Silvestri earned the win for JMU going six innings with seven strikeouts and only one earned run.
RHP Christian Bourne and RHP Matt Colon came in relief for the last three innings letting up just one hit and keeping NJIT off the board.
Up next for the Highlanders is two away games, first at Marist on March 22 at 3pm and March 25 for a double header at Lehigh starting at 12pm.
