2021: Pitched in 13 games including 12 starts before coming out of the bullpen to face #1 Arkansas in the NCAA Tournament...tossed seven innings an allowed just two earned runs vs. Albany (3/21)...pitched six scoreless innings in final start of his career vs. UMBC (5/22).

2020: Saw action in five games in a season cut short after 16 games due to the COVID-19 Pandemic...came out of the bullpen to help lead NJIT past Penn State (2/15), earning the Win in the process...struck out a pair, while only allowing one run in 2.1 innings of work against Penn State.

2019: Appeared in 13 games, including 12 starts, posting a 6.20 ERA in 74.0 innings pitched, striking out 28 batters. .... went 2-5 with one save, which included two complete games against North Florida (Apr. 12) and Lipscomb (Apr 18). ... against Lipscomb, Kacso, posted his longest career outing, in a stellar performance, pitching 9.0 innings, letting up five hits and one run, while striking out four Bison batters.

2018: Appeared in 15 games, including 13 starts for the Highlanders. ... posted a 4.57 ERA in 61.0 innings of action, striking out 22 batters. ... posted a 3-6 record. ... picked up wins against Maryland Eastern Shore (Mar. 11), USC Upstate (Apr. 13) and North Florida (Mar. 17). ... against North Florida, Kacso pitched 6.0 innings allowing just one run and letting up seven hits in the Highlanders 3-1 victory.

2017: Appeared in 10 games, including three starts. ... ranks fifth on the team with a 6.65 ERA ... pitched23.0 inning, striking out 14, surrendering 27 hits. ... held North Florida scoreless in 1.2 innings of relief and held Saint Peter's (1.0 inning) and Lipscomb (2.1 innings) hit-less and scoreless. ... first collegiate start at NYIT (May 6; G2). ...also played eight games, with four starts at third base for the Highlanders.

Prior to NJIT: Jared Kacso, helped lead Barnegat High School to the 2016 Shore Conference B South Division Champions.  As a senior, Kacso earned first-team recognition for the Atlantic City Press, Asbury Park Press Network All B South, Shore Sports Network All B South and named to the third-team by the Asbury Park Press All-Shore and Shore Sports Network All-Shore in for the 2016 season. The 6-foot-1 third baseman led Barnegat in batting average (2015, 2016), most career walks and stolen bases.
