The Highlanders (10-14, 3-6 ASUN) will play its next two games on the road in Jacksonville, Florida, first visiting the Dolphins of Jacksonville (17-7, 6-3 ASUN) on Saturday at 1pm in Historic Swisher Gym.
The game is part of a doubleheader with the NJIT men, who will tip off at 7 p.m. against the Dolphins in Swisher Gym.
With a win on Saturday…
--NJIT will pick up its first all-time win against Jacksonville
-- NJIT will split the regular season series with the Dolphins; Dolphins defeated NJIT on January 16 in Newark, 75-56

Starting in January, every NJIT game played in the ASUN Conference, home and away, throughout the regular season and into the ASUN postseason tournament will be covered on ESPN3.
ALL TIME SERIES
NJIT looks for its first all-time win against Jacksonville. In the last meeting between the two teams, Jacksonville won convincingly, 75-56 in Newark. In the first-ever meeting between the two teams last season, Jacksonville topped NJIT, 65-35 in Newark on January 26. The Dolphins won comfortably on their home court in Jacksonville, 68-37 on February 20.
A LOOK AT JACKSONVILLE
Jacksonville (6-3 in the ASUN, 17-7 overall), have won one of its previous four contests, most recently dropping an overtime victory at Stetson on February 8, 57-47. The lone win in the four-game stretch for the Dolphins came against Florida Gulf Coast, 73-65, on February 4.
Jacksonville overcame a pair of double-digit deficits en route to nine lead changes and four ties, but a 7-0 run in the extra period sealed the Hatter win.

Jacksonville missed a layup in overtime that would have locked things at 46 but instead, the Hatters pushed it down court to find Brianti Saunders for a three-pointer, sparking the 7-0 run.
The Dolphins are 11-1 at home this season and 25-2 over the last two years.
Sherranda Reddick leads the ASUN in scoring at 17.2 points per game and three-point percentage (41.8), while teammate Brandi Blue follows behind at 13.3 ppg and Christin Mercer at 12.8 ppg.
On the boards, Kayla Gordon is pulling down a league-best 9.2 rpg as the Dolphins rank 10
th in the nation with a 9.8 rpg rebounding margin.
A LOOK AT NJIT
NJIT, who is coming off a 66-56 home loss to Kennesaw State on February 8, was led by redshirt sophomore
Tatianna Torres, who nearly missed posting a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Torres is averaging 10.3 ppg and leads the ASUN in steals per game (2.4 spg).
Senior guard
Alana Dudley paces the Highlanders with 12.3 ppg and 92 assists, which ranks the senior second in the ASUN (3.8 apg).
Freshman forward
Danielle Tunstall tops the team on the boards, averaging 6.0 rpg and is shooting 41 percent from the field (50-for-123).
Redshirt sophomore
Kelly Guarino is the team-leader with 47 three-pointers made and ranks third in the conference with 2.2 made per game.
NEXT ACTION
NJIT will close out its ASUN road schedule on Monday when the Highlanders visit North Florida at 7pm. In the first meeting of the season, Dudley hit the game-winning shot with :03 seconds, leading NJIT to a 64-62 victory.
