NEWARK, NJ – Soccer's
Mamadou Guirassy was selected as NJIT Athletes of the Week for his performance through October 16.
Guirassy helped the Highlanders clinch a spot in the ASUN Conference tournament, scoring two goals in their 4-1 victory over Jacksonville on Saturday.
The senior has 14 goals on the season, which is the most in the ASUN and second in all of NCAA Division I men's soccer.
Guirassy leads the Highlanders and the ASUN in points (30), goals (14) and shots (70) and won ASUN Player of the Week on Monday for the third time this year.
