NJIT (8-11, 1-3 ASUN) will look to snap a two-game skid on Monday evening when the Highlanders visit Stetson (14-5, 3-1 ASUN) at the Edmonds Center with opening tip slated for 7 p.m.

For the remainder of the season, every NJIT game played in the ASUN Conference, home and away, throughout the regular season and into the ASUN postseason tournament will be covered on ESPN3.
ALL TIME SERIES
The Hatters lead the all-time series 2-0. The two teams met for the first time last season with the Hatters coming out on top in both meetings – 60-55 at Stetson on January 16 and 74-56 in Newark on February 15.
A LOOK AT THE HATTERS
Stetson, winners of its last three, enters Monday's ASUN contest with a 3-1 record in the conference and 14-5 overall on the season.Â
The Hatters lone loss came at the hands of FGCU, 84-71 on January 7. Since the loss, Stetson rallied off wins against Kennesaw State (65-56), Lipscomb (91-66) and most recently USC Upstate (80-68).
In the win over USC Upstate,
Brianti Saunders led four players in double figures with 23 points as Stetson won its third game in a row, 80-68. Stetson shot 47 percent from the floor and hit the 80-point mark for the seventh time this season.
The Hatters started off the season 11-2, tying for the best start in program history. Winners of the last three, Stetson leads the ASUN in scoring (73.1), field goal percentage (45.3) and free throw percentage (81.4).
The Hatters lead the NCAA in free throw percentage with a .814 mark. Individually, Saunders is tied for the NCAA lead with a .929 mark.Â
Saunders, the ASUN Preseason Player of the Year, is averaging 17.3 ppg and tops the team with a .929 free throw percentage (91-for-98). She has scored in double-digits in every game, including eight 20+ point performances. Against USC Upstate, Saunders finished 9-for-10 from the free throw line.
Senior
Breana Bey, an ASUN Tri-Newcomer of the Year honoree from a season ago, ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.9 ppg while shooting 60 percent from the field (110-182). Standing at 5-foot-9, Bey's 6.4 rpg ranks second on the team. Bey has notched double-digit scoring in every game but four, including four double-doubles.
Junior guard
Brittney Chambers, a transfer from Daytona State, is averaging 10.8 ppg and has combined for 25 steals. Hatters 6-foot-3 forward
Sarah Sagerer paces Stetson and the ASUN Conference on the boards averaging 8.9 rpg and 61 total blocks.Â
RECAP 15-16 SEASON
Stetson qualified for the Women's Basketball Invitation, and reached the quarterfinals (against Louisiana), completing their sixth straight 20-win season.
STETSON HEAD COACH LYNN BRIA
An eight-year veteran with the program, head coach
Lynn Bria has led the Hatters to six straight 20-win seasons and six consecutive appearances in NCAA postseason play.
Over the past six seasons, Bria has guided the Hatters to two ASUN Conference Championships, two NCAA Tournaments, three WNIT appearances, and one Women's Basketball Invitational.
NJIT OUTLOOK
The Highlanders, which played its best first half of the season at FGCU Saturday afternoon, held a five-point advantage against one of the top teams in the ASUN, 32-27. The Eagles exploded for 30 points in the third quarter and opened the fourth with an 11-0 spurt, securing the teams' 15
th win of the season with a 73-53 victory.
NJIT senior guard
Alana Dudley paced the Highlanders with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field while dishing out six assists. Redshirt sophomore guard
Kelly Guarino netted 13 points, including three from downtown.
The Highlanders recorded its first ASUN Conference win, 64-62, against North Florida on January 14 on a game-winning shot by Dudley with :03 seconds left on the clock.
Dudley paces the Highlanders at 11.7 ppg followed by
Leah Horton at 10.2 ppg. Dudley has recorded at least one assist in all 19 games and has notched double-digit scoring in the last five games for NJIT. Her 252 career assists ranks third, 23 shy
Ivana Seric's 275 assists, who sits in second place.
NJIT's
Kelly Guarino paces the team with 32 three-pointer made, connecting on at least two treys in the last three games.
NEXT ACTION
NJIT will return to action on Saturday when the Highlanders host Lipscomb at 1pm on ESPN3.Â
Last season, the Highlanders went 1-1 against Lipscomb, earning the program's first all-time win in the ASUN on February 4, 61-51, in Newark.
