NEWARK, NJ—Coming off the program's first ASUN Conference victory at USC Upstate last weekend, the Highlanders will spend the weekend in Florida, visiting Stetson on Friday at 7pm and FGCU on Sunday at 1pm.

NJIT women's soccer won the program's first-ever ASUN conference match, rolling to a 3-0 shutout victory over USC Upstate last weekend. The Highlanders posted its third shutout of the season, snapping its four-match losing streak and scoring drought with the win over the Spartans.
The Highlanders won two matches last season, and have already doubled last season's total this season with a 5-4-2 mark overall and a 1-0 record in conference play.
NJIT looks for its first wins against both Stetson and FGCU this weekend.
Sophomore standout
Neema Liverpool is on the way to breaking NJIT D-I records, as she tied the program-record with her fifth goal of the season in the Highlanders 3-0 victory at USC Upstate. Her eight career goals ranks third all-time in the DI era.
Arianna Gerber currently sits first in the ASUN for assists (5) while senior goalkeeper
Karen David has started every match but one in goal for NJIT, allowing nine goals this season for a 0.86 goals against average, good for second in the conference.

The Hatters were scheduled to begin ASUN play last weekend at FGCU, but severe lightning in the area forced the postponement of the match.
Stetson hasn't played since a 4-0 win over Wofford on September 18, the second of two wins that weekend. Two days prior the Hatters gained a 1-0 overtime victory against Campbell.
Stetson meets the Highlanders for the second time in program history after the Hatters defeated NJIT, 3-2, scoring two goals in the last nine minutes of regulation in 2015.
Junior Sarah Collins continues to climb the Stetson record books as she is now tied for fourth in career goals (22). In the last two matches, Collins managed to provide the game-winning goals to clinch the win for the Hatters.
Emily Plotz sits atop the ASUN, registering the leading save percentage at .944 and the lowest GAA of any keeper at 0.34.

FGCU, on a three-match win streak, the Eagles continue to rise in both conference and national rankings. As a team, FGCU is tops in the ASUN in assists per game (1.60), goals against average (0.887), shutout percentage (.500) and total assists (16). On the national level, FGCU is 39th in shutout percentage.
Senior Tabby Tindell overtook the conference lead in points with 18 on the year and also moved to 25th in the NCAA. The senior remains fourth in game-winning goals (4), and is now 39th in goals per game (0.70) and 31st in total goals (7).
Goalkeeper Melissa Weck is on track to post one of the more impressive campaigns for a goalkeeper in FGCU history. The freshman sits atop the conference rankings with five shutouts while also checking in 20th nationally in all of Division I.
FGCU recorded a season-high seven goals in its last match against Fairleigh Dickinson, advancing to a three-match win streak. Three of those goals were career firsts for Jamie Finn, freshmen Silvana Gordon and Emilie Olsen (2).
Tindell only needs two goals to tie the all-time ASUN career goals title and two assists to tie the FGCU assists record. Tindell ranks in the top-ten amongst the ASUN for most career assists (26).
